Still No Need for Book-Learnin’, It’s Rainbows and Pronouns in Phoenix Union High Schools

The next time Save Our Schools Arizona (SOSAZ) tells the lazy local media there are no agendas being taught in Arizona public schools, remind them of August 24, 2023 in Phoenix Union High School District. SOSAZ knows where this district is, a teacher union member has an office in the administration building. It is light rail distance from the political assembly line of the Arizona Education Association. This district is easy to find.

There is a new Interim Superintendent this year but academics doesn’t look to be on the docket. Ryan Ussery appears to be a teacher at Betty Fairfax High School in Laveen when he’s not sexually grooming children. Here is the text from emails he sent the staff on Thursday. Attached were a number of photos we will post below.

There is a lot to unpack in these emails and we will start with the colorful photos Mr….can we say Mr.? Wait, let’s read what his signature dictates….he’s a him so yes, we will start with the colorful photos MR. Ussery attached to his emails.

Is this Ryan Ussery above? If so he should check his pronouns.

Notice the green arrow pointing to the word “Bloom”. Is that Bloom365? And on the right with another green arrow we pointed to “Teaching Tolerance”. It looks like that isn’t working well in some states.

Great sarcasm by Riley Gaines. Where is the genocide, did any media ask? Below is one more photo from Ryan Ussery’s Let’s Mutilate Kids email.

Earlier this week, a “counselor” at Fairfax emailed the staff asking for information about the clubs being sponsored so she can connect students with them.

Why is she involved? Doesn’t the school have announcements or bulletin boards with club information? Is Mrs. Shew directing students to specific clubs? What Mrs. Shew did not put in her signature is her social work degree.

Heather Shew-Plummer has a history celebrating gay parenting. She is quoted in this article about two men adopting a slew of children, appearing to be fully supportive of the mens’ relationship with no regard to long-term effects on the children.

Back to Ryan Ussery’s email, check out the link in his signature (what is this? click the link to learn) Go ahead and click the link so you, too, can be guilted into using improper English when talking or writing about others.

When parents have complaints about educators, they are to file a formal complaint with the Arizona State Board of Education to investigate. We heard complaints were piling up. At a recent meeting, results of some of the investigations were shared. The local Red for Ed cheerleading media was silent; it kind of blows the anti-school choice narrative they dream about. However, a local Twitter/X account has been digging through the complaints and results. For anyone who can access Twitter/X, read the documents @ALegalProcess has redlined in his threads.

There is no coincidence the sexual exploitation of children in Arizona is growing due to the practices of staff and administration within most school districts. Urban districts are not alone as we have reported here and here. Let’s get back to academics, follow state statutes as “educators”, and quit using our children for sexual pleasure in and out of the classroom.
