Glendale, AZ City Council is Ready to Direct Money to Local Planned Parenthood

On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, the Glendale City Council will vote to send over $24,000 to the Planned Parenthood located in their city. This Planned Parenthood is currently the leading Planned Planned in the state in the number of abortions performed. While these dollars do not represent any funds collected from residents, a Yes vote sends a dire message to Glendale’s residents while setting a precedent for other municipalities to follow suit. This link explains where the funds originated.

Below is the meeting agenda item.

Notice the Glendale Planned Parenthood has renamed itself “Glendale Community Health Care Center of Planned Parenthood of Arizona”. Word salad. There is no healthcare taking place inside that building. The goal is to develop a clientele for future abortions. But just in case Roe vs. Wade was overturned and the State of Arizona has confusing legislation so many don’t know if abortion is still legal before 15 weeks gestation, Planned Parenthood is there for your gender transition needs! We highlighted “education and advocacy” as the organization is bent on hooking children on sex without parental consent through school curriculums and gender clubs. There is no limit to the amount of child mutilation done at the hands of Planned Parenthood. Glendale Mayor and Council, please read this piece by Christopher Rufo summarizing his interview with a physician in a major children’s hospital.

The mayor of Glendale, Jerry Weiers, already has the letter awarding the $24,000 ready to be signed.

This is confusing. Is this the same Jerry Weiers who represented his district in the Arizona Legislature as a Republican?

Has Mayor Weiers read the Republican platform? Yes, he is now in a non-partisan seat, but he either believes in his soul abortion is detrimental to women and children or he doesn’t; his actions should not be directed by politics. Back in 2009 Representative Weiers sponsored HB2400 which further clarified partial-birth abortion and actions to be taken for those performing these abortions.

The Arizona Department of Health Services tracks abortions in the state. The Glendale Planned Parenthood was one of the leading abortion centers in Arizona in 2020 and 2021.

It is assumed since the Tempe Planned Parenthood has had little activity for the last several months many of those abortion-minded clients have been gobbled up by the Glendale facility. Yes, Glendale Council, abortion IS legal in Arizona and they are occurring as you make this final decision.

Sidebar: What is the difference between a baby that is 14 weeks and six days and one that is 14 weeks and seven days?

We encourage Glendale residents concerned about their Council funneling money to an abortion mill to come to the Glendale City Council meeting and be heard.

There will also be a prayer vigil outside the building starting at 5PM. The Glendale Council needs our prayers to resist the temptation of abortion and gender transitioning. Instead they could contact Maricopa County for alternative community health centers in Glendale which do not perform abortions that could use this $24,000. By the way, when did municipalities become our local gatekeepers for medical care? Shouldn’t they stay in their lane and keep our citizens safe and streets maintained?
