Your Typical Planned Parenthood Politician–David Schapira in Tempe

We have an entire page devoted to Tempe Union High School (TUHSD) and the charade it poorly performed in 2014 when the Board voted to allow Planned Parenthood, its Arizona educational arm, and its curriculum in the schools.

While it appeared most of the Board members seemed insecure with their affirmative votes, one in particular was driven to partner with Planned Parenthood at all costs.

Because of this, we will give David Schapira some attention.  This is not meant to pick on Mr. Schapira, but to display what happens when we don’t educate ourselves before voting, especially for your local school board.  There are many like Mr. Schapira across the country and they should be congratulated for fulfilling Planned Parenthood’s electoral goals.

School board members don’t get paid, so subconsciously we feel those running for the position are just like us.  Most are concerned parents or neighbors who want to keep their community schools strong and productive.  Most candidates say the same things during their campaigns.  It’s very hard to distinguish between them.  And once the candidates win and are on the Board, how many of us track the votes of the board members from meeting to meeting?

Planned Parenthood takes these school board positions very seriously.  They have the game mastered so they will have access to the kids to push their curriculum.  They organize classes to groom potential candidates, partnering with the Arizona Education Association or other groups around the country with like minds.  I would normally link to these seminars, but the site is down.  (This writing is occurring during the gradual exposure of the Planned Parenthood videos and many links to the organization are down.)

Who funds these candidate grooming seminars?  The Arizona teachers union (the “poor” teachers’ paychecks) and Planned Parenthood (your tax dollars of $1 million/day).  Isn’t that great?  You are funding your defeat.

We don’t know if Mr. Schapira attended a Planned Parenthood candidate seminar.  Regardless, he is one of Planned Parenthood’s favorite politicians.  Once you are in PP’s circle, you will receive campaign donations, volunteers, endorsements from  the organization, the Democratic Party, NARAL, and maybe even a pink shirt!  This is a well-oiled machine.

And don’t forget that extra donation from Bryan Howard, the President of Planned Parenthood of Arizona.

Once someone is on School Board, they often run for bigger offices.  It’s a normal path and we should encourage good representatives to keep serving.  It’s imperative we pay more attention to school board races and the damage done at the local level to stop the bleeding as soon as possible.

And it’s imperative we run solid pro-life candidates for school board who represent us and follow local laws.

After the release of the second video, Clinton said she didn’t have all of the facts but that Planned Parenthood had apologized for the insensitivity of its employees in the discussions captured on video. Clinton also said she thought it was unfortunate that Planned Parenthood had been the object of such concerted attacks for so many years and it’s really an attack against women’s rights to choose.

Follow the money in every election. That’s all Hillary cares about–power, money, herself. Poor Charlotte.
