Recently, Planned Parenthood of Arizona closed its Yuma facility with the goal of using that money to spread Comprehensive Sex Ed into Arizona schools.
In December, 2013, Planned Parenthood was confirmed to be presenting three Sex Ed curriculums to the Tempe Union High School District (TUHSD) on January 7, 2014.
Tempe, Arizona is home to one of the largest universities in the country: Arizona State University. What better way for PP to increase business–target the seven high schools a stone’s throw from ASU. The Tempe Planned Parenthood is 1 mile east of ASU. This is a dream scenario for a market strategist.
Many parents pleaded with the Sex Ed Committee, TUHSD Board, and the Superintendent to look at the big picture, all the new curriculum would do was to increase Planned Parenthood’s bottom line. We were ignored and Planned Parenthood’s business strategy was never talked about by the powers that be during discussions.
Maybe if a former clinic worker had spoken during public comment (warning, graphic content).
Anybody in a school district near a university, please check and see if Planned Parenthood is involved in the Sex Ed curriculum at your local district. The district won’t admit it, and the curriculum won’t say “Planned Parenthood.”
Most likely, the dangerous curriculum will be called FLASH. Remember when you see “birth control” mentioned, Planned Parenthood is banking on it failing and they will be there to provide that abortion. This is how they keep the money flowing.
When caught, some districts will change the name of the PP curriculum like TUHSD did and then tell parents Planned Parenthood has nothing to do with the material, despite inviting them to the district in the first place.
