We learned recently from Arizona’s Attorney General, Mark Brnovich, that The University of Arizona has wasted the state’s tax money on the Condom Olympics back in 2014. Since the event was held in February of that year, it must qualify for the Winter Olympics. Not only did Arizona taxpayers fund this “athletic” event, the brilliant students who had to pass the SAT or ACT to get into college got a full three credits towards graduation.
Professor William Simmons is the instructor for “Sex, Health, and Aids”, which includes these particular olympics. His current salary is is shown below. This salary does not include the overhead to hold the class.
Attorney General Brnovich is asking how this got past the Board of Regents. It turns out the Condom Olympics was part of Sex Talk Week which we have touched on in earlier posts. By the way, we never did hear back from U of A’s condom pusher, Carrie Hardesty, when we requested information about her free condoms.
What Attorney General Brnovich didn’t tell us is The University of Arizona’s biggest rival a couple hours north did not want to be outdone. Later that same month, Arizona State held their own Condom Olympics.
